LTR Systems

LTR Systems and all other trunking systems have been reconfirmed, and updated. The update should be uploaded soon.

The 937 unknown LTR system is no longer active.

The Crown 454 LTR system looks to actually be licensed to Schuylkill Mobile Phone, with the transmitters located on the KDKA tower.

A couple of new LTR frequencies were found by Rich, K3RWN. These appear o be a two channel LTR system. The LCNs are known, but which frequency is which, is still being worked on.

Whitaker Police

Whitaker Police are now on Allegheny County Dispatch - Mon Valley Zone - 156.210 - PL 107.2 - Repeater - Units #53--

Stowe Twp VFD

Flemming Park VFD station 275 and West Park VFD Station 277 have merged to form Stowe VFD. Presston VFD Station 277 has been fighting the merger, and is not part of the merger.

According to news releases Presston VFD is no longer recognized by Stowe Township, and will not be dispatched for fire calls, and are not to respond.

Updates to the trunking systems page is in progress, and this will be a major update of the page.

There are a substantial amount of changes to the Allegheny County Fire And EMS page as well.

In fact, most pages have updates that will be up loaded as soon as I get things done.

Allegheny County East Fire - 470.3875 PL 123.0

There has been testing on this lately. Today radio service was talking about turning on the link. Tonight this seems to be linked with 472.5875 PL 136.5, and 472.8375 PL 156.7. These two have used 475.5875 for the input to the linked system.

From the sounds of the testing, this is primarily to serve the Penn Hills region.

Tonight this is linked, and now Penn Hills fire dispatches are going through the system. Penn Hills is still responding on VHF 154.400 PL 146.2.

During testing last night they were referring to Ops 2. There was some testing on 470.325 PL 146.3, and they switched back to Ch. 1 which was 470.3875.
