White Oak Police

It has been reported White Oak Police are using 154.160 DPL 243 as a car to car channel.

Crescent VFD was given approval to pursue switching to Allegheny County for dispatch.

Allegheny County DPW

494.9250   pl 173.8   is going to be tested by the Public Works Dept. My location in Penn Hills has a Few mobles and a base radio installed as of today 5/2/2016. If they test ok Public works should have good coverage once again.

I am hearing them mostly on Ch. 2 today. Lots of radio service testing and switching back and forth. Most ops have been on Ch. 2. I have only heard radio checks on Ch. 1 today.

I was sent information on this,

Forbes Hospital has been designated as Station 950 for both Allegheny and Westmoreland county EMS.  

Unit 951 is a 24/7 physician response unit.  952 and 953 are paramedic response vehicles

Findlay Police

Findlay Police - 460.150 - P25 NAC 293 - They are using P25 at times.

This one is a little odd. I have heard the base dispatching in P25, and the cars in analog. I have heard only one half of the conversation using P25.

West Penn Hospital ER was on Pittsburgh EMS Ch. 9 announcing their final goodbye and wishing the city EMS a Happy New Year. West Penn ER is now closed.

West Penn Hospital ER - 155.400 - PL 156.7 will be deleted on the next update.

Priority One

Priority One EMS has been silent on 462.000. All I have heard is the Morse ID with PL 77.0. I have not heard them on another channel yet.

North Versailles Police

North Versailles police 460.100 - PL 141.3 - Are now using #3100.

There has been a lot of changes to police unit numbers in the past month. This has occurred for both county dispatched and self dispatched agencies. They are all oving to the same standard identification system.

I am working on updates for the pages to reflect these changes. I was thinking some radio system changes would have occurred, and was waiting for them. I will update, what has change so far soon, and not wait any further.

Allegheny County DPW

Allegheny County DPW - 471.2625 - PL 156.7 - Simplex

Allegheny County is paving Sussex Ave. traffic on 471.2625 PL 156.7 simplex, related to traffic control and operations.

Allegheny County LZ TAC

Allegheny County LZ TAC - 453.5375 - PL 186.2 - Simplex

This is the frequency to be used at all LZ in the county for Life Flight and STAT. This is the main frequency Allegheny County will give to the Helos for ground contact. This is being used more frequently mow, and is being implemented countywide.

LPGA Open

Allegheny County Oakmont Command is also using 494.800 PL 141.3. I have heard other 494 freqs being used, but very little.

LPGA Open

472.5875 PL 146.2 is being used by Open Command by police for traffic control around the course.

Looks like they are giving the new East Freqs a good testing at the Open.

LPGA Open

LPGA Open starts tomorrow and runs through the 11th. There was some testing of EMS units on 471.3125 PL 146.2 this morning. This is likely to be the EMS channel during the event.
