155.565 PL 167.9 Repeater being keyed up.

Elizabeth Twp DPW

It has been reported that Elizabeth DPW has moved to 470.4625 DPL 306. I have not heard them on either their old channel or the new one lately.

Fayette County 33.700

Fayette County 911 is planning to stop using 33.700 for fire dispatch. At the latest this will Happen in April. One of the transmitters is reported to be down, and there are no plans to repair it. I can still hear 33.700 in use by Fayette County. All fire dispatch will be done on 155.190. It has been reported that the departments who have not changed over to VHF-high band pagers are doing so now.

Beaver County

Beaver County PD Zone 5 155.565 has moved over to 155.7225 PL 103.5. Work should now begin on the 155.565 repeater.

Munhall EMS

Munhall EMS is now being dispatched by Allegheny County 911 on East EMS 471.3125 PL 146.2. Station 630. Tones 617.4 / 1357.6

Beaver County 154.740

154.740 PL 88.5  Repeater is on the air and in use. Heard Beaver County come on the air after 0700 this am, and call all units to check in. Channel is now in use.

Pittsburgh Ch. 6

Pittsburgh fire ch. 6 453.850 PL 186.2 is very weak tonight. It is cutting in and out on the portable, and very weak on the base antenna. Not sure what the problem is.
