West Penn Hospital ER

West Penn Hospital ER was on Pittsburgh EMS Ch. 9 announcing their final goodbye and wishing the city EMS a Happy New Year. West Penn ER is now closed.

West Penn Hospital ER - 155.400 - PL 156.7 will be deleted on the next update.

Washington County PD changes

According to an article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette the following departments have been shut down by their municipalities.

Fallowfield Police Department - 155.640 PL 110.0 - #47-- will be deleted on next update
Hanover Police Department - 159.165 PL 123.0 - #45-- Will be deleted on next update

Supervisors from both townships had voted to disband the departments effective today.

Allegheny County North Zone

Allegheny County North Zone has been simulcasting 155.010 PL 114.8 and 495.0125 DPL 432 police.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden - 467.8125 PL 67.0 simplex

Alleghenyb County South Zone

Allegheny County South Zone has now switched to 460.600 PL 118.8 - repeater for dispatch. This is South Fire Dispatch 1.

There are also new sets of tones for some departments. There has been heavy testing of tones today. Some tones are still going over 460.400, but this will no longer be used after the change over is complete.

Also active today is new South Public Safety - 460.200 PL 110.9 - repeater.

South Fire Ops 2 - 460.625 - PL 192.8 has been used today.

Other ops channels should be in use soon.
